Furniture Hardware

Derek Gulker will be telling us everything we ever wanted to know about Furniture Hardware.

As representative of BLUM Products, Derek’s demonstration will show examples of the unique design and benefits of the popular BLUM hinge, an extremely popular and robust hinge, along with other hardware options to make your furniture projects functional.  Derek will talk about other hardware options, including lift doors, hinges, runners, box systems, and specialty hardware.  Using samples and catalog information, Derek will help us learn about the growth of extremely functional furniture hardware for the home.  There will also be a time for Q&A following his presentation, where specific products or applications can be discussed.

Invite a friend and join us on Wednesday, April 16th.  Doors open at 6:00 PM where a light meal will be available.  Then the meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

Toys of the
Month

Our Toys of the Month for April are two different Unicorn designs; first is a Rolling Unicorn, mounted on wheels, and a Unicorn Phone Holder.  Both designs allow you to custom paint your Unicorn, or leave it plan to allow kids to do it themselves.

Templates and kits will be available for members to pick up at our April monthly meeting.  See Vince Failla as you enter the Carpenters Union 301 Hall. Or contact Vince for more information at 317-408-7511.

As usual, make 13, keep one for you our a grandchild, and return the other 12 at a future monthly meeting.

Our Toys of the Month for February are The Garbage Truck and the Coin Hole Game.  The Garbage Truck is a new arrival and serves as one of our popular truck options for little hands.  The Coin Hole Game is a table-top version of the familiar Corn Hole game, but for older kids (due to small parts).

As usual, templates and kits will be available for members to pick up at our February monthly meeting.
