Like many of us Rick White developed an interest in woodworking thanks to the tutelage of a grandfather. Starting in the family jelly making business, moving on to a 20-year stint in the bakery supply business, spending a couple of years as a stock broker in the World Trade Center, and landing in the heating and air conditioning industry for the past 12 years Rick’s work experience has been varied to say the least. However, his passion for woodworking has remained as a constant.

Over the years Rick has made many clocks, boxes of all sorts, and pens/pencils. Most of those projects were fashioned with a wide range of power and hand tools that belonged to Rick’s grandfather. Loving to fish and work with wood, Rick’s grandfather set out to help his oldest grandson learn to love both hobbies – and success was realized.
