I have a nice Jet bandsaw for sale.  It's 14" on an enclosed Jet base with casters; plus extra assorted size blades.

Hi.
I’ve been out of town. Can you send a photo of the bandsaw and price?

All good advice. It’s likely to be fixed up to good working order with a little elbow grease. Second Matt’s advice to follow along with Alex Snodgrass’ video. I have the 10-3061 (10” model) and it works great for my initial use case of working with smaller items. I primarily use to process turning blanks and cuts of smaller flat material. Would strongly advise thinking through what you would like to do with the saw. Highly recommend a saw with a deeper blade for resale work to make straight cuts easier. Mine only works with up to 1/2” blades and only 5” height of cut so not enough for that kind of work.

Here’s a link to YouTube Video -

Alex is the master of bandsaws ( in my opinion )

After seeing him in person at the woodworking shows - I have tuned up my old Delta and made some amazing cuts.

You may have to watch this a couple times  - he goes pretty fast.

There are generally 2 reasons for the issue with tracking.  The wheels are not adjusted properly, or the urethane bands on the wheels are worn out.  Both are easily fixed.  Also, make sure to adjust all your guide blocks.  Bandsaws are awesome but require regular adjustments.

One other quick note. If you buy a bandsaw that doesn't have a fence or needs a better one buy the Kreg Bandsaw fence. It is fantastic and can be used on older saws. You just may have to drill new holes to fit it. With a good blade and fence you can make an older bandsaw run like new.

Thanks!

They likely do not have the wheels aligned correctly. Rikon is a great bandsaw but you will likely quickly need more capacity than a 10". 14" bandsaws are more common. I bought a 12" Craftsman years ago used on Facebook that has served me well. For what it's worth I'd encourage you to look for a larger model used. More importantly, the bandsaw blade is going to be key. Buy a new one and get a good brand. I use Timberwolf but there are others. Hopefully something here is helpful.
