My daughter may have a source. She is checking with a friend for a personal project. She also is waiting for their Black Walnuts to drop and will be collecting them. I will let you know as soon as I hear back.

I have 2 sweet gums in my front yard

Early in the spring I use a dethatcher and lawn sweeper and pick up several hundred and dump over the bank and they are swept away into the creek when the creek rises

There are still a “few” in the yard that I’m sure the lawn sweeper could pick up if you need them now or 2 55gal bags in the spring

It’s late in the season. But I will look for some from our trees. If I find some good ones I will bring them to the next meeting. A month ago I could have had buckets.

I have a ton in my backyard. They are last year's and the piles are gone but you could still probably get quite a bit.

Jennifer, the older the better means they are dryer than fresh ones. Think maybe I could swing by and grab a bunch? Do you think you might have say a 2 quart pitcher full?

On the IU Indy campus. White River Pkwy East Dr between New York and 10th St. the street is lined with Sweet Gum trees

The ones I have in my garage and have saved are all dry. Right now, the tree has green ones on it now, but they are changing.

We have a sweet gum tree in our front yard. You can have all that you want. We also have a LOT that we have saved over the years. You are welcome to as many as you want.
